Looking west, only one sunk sailboat along with the never ending trash line.

That sorry ass gazebo is still standing - wish it had been washed away.

The birds are finding easy pickings as the yard is full of shrimp and menhaden. If we had gotten there sooner, maybe there would have been good bait for the Baitcamp.

The rising water left a little bit of a trash line. Pretty good looking lumber in there, so maybe there will be enough to restore the fishing pier.

The "lake" at the Lakehouse has also gone down a little.

Well, the water has subsided a little at the Baitcamp, but the fishing pier is still looking a little rough.

Rained last night

We had several inches of rain last night, with more forecast for today. Wind is blowing from the south about 30 mph with higher gusts. Clear Lake is up about 7 feet from yesterday, and I saw several flooded low areas along NASA 1. Looks worse than it did with Hurricane Rita last year. A few pictures are posted below.

Looking due west from the Baitcamp. Note the whitecaps and waves hitting the bulkhead further down.

Water level above the bulkhead. Bulkhead runs in front of the plants and the light fixture. Also another shot of our shot pier.

Check out the No Trespassing sign

Here's the fishing pier with a few loose boards still hanging on.

Here lies most of our fishing pier.

Water's getting up a little too close to the Baitcamp. Notice gazebo and barbque pit under water.

Sample for BGBC without pier, but good shot of trash in front of gazebo.

Dilbert is cool.

I really liked this one.

That boat thinks he can outrun those airplanes.

Package delivered - now it's time to scoot.

Zeros lining up their attack on the Baitcamp

Got some Zeros overhead - guess there's an airshow somewhere soon. The "package" being dropped by the middle one is actually Channel 2 helicoptor hovering well above them.
