SUMMER DRAWING TO A CLOSE

Well, summer's almost over now. The days are getting shorter (and hotter), and the hint of football is in the air with two-a-days getting going. I remember my friend Lannie (now a paraplegic) saying that if you could get through two-a-days at Rice you could get through anything, and I had to remind him of that when he became paralized from the neck down. He's about 70 now and still kicking asses at the rehab from all the young gunshot victims and all. Anyway, I think there is a new addition to the family from Kenny's daughter, Leslie, in Missouri.
